weBambu EcoSchool – Inchanga Seed Project

  • Location: Inchanga, Kwa-Zulu Natal
  • Year: 2018
  • Client: Private
  • Role: Feasibility & Concept Design, 3D Visualisation
  • Scope:

This master plan outlines a phased development strategy aimed at supporting early childhood development (ECD) and broader community upliftment through a thoughtful blend of private and public uses. Envisioned as a springboard for educational, economic, and ecological growth, the proposal brings together a pre-primary school and a small-scale commercial hub within a unified site.

Each phase carries its own identity and function, yet is designed to integrate seamlessly into a coherent whole. The structure allows for incremental implementation, making the project more feasible to fund, construct, and adapt over time.

Key features such as permaculture gardens and shared maker spaces reflect a commitment to flexibility, sustainability, and community involvement.

The master plan and accompanying marketing material were developed as tools to support early-stage fundraising, offering stakeholders and potential donors a clear vision of the project’s potential and long-term impact.
